Hello Everyone!! What a wonderful Easter:) Jase and I headed to Rockford with David and spent a great weekend seeing family, friends, getting lots of snow:(, eating yummy food and Easter candy, and also getting showered with baby gifts! What a wonderful shower we had...it was so good to see old friends again...it felt more like a reunion. I just miss those dear women so much:) Thanks, everyone, for all of the great mothering advice. I will need all the help I can get. Also we were truly blessed by the generosity of everyone...this baby has a full blown wardrobe already and is on his way to quite a library as well:) (the more books the better:) I love opening baby gifts, especially in a room full of 20 women...the sound effects are so funny and predictable:)
Tuesday we went in for the 32 week check up. The next 3 checkups are every 2 weeks and then every week!!! This is really happening to me! The heartbeat was strong, and the doctor even found his position...apparently all is well, and he is ready for the big day... (which I am eagerly awaiting:) One little problem...We have been having so much trouble thinking of names for a boy!!! Everyone I have talked to says that boy names are more difficult to choose...they all seem to be either too trendy or too traditional. If it were a girl, we have tons of options and are even sure about one name for a future daughter... Ruby Mae (after both of our grandma's...but, oh well, we'll just have to wait to use that one:)
I am enjoying my time at Centennial...the junior highers' energy level is actually helping me make it through the day. Instead of pretending to be excited about something with high schoolers, I can ask one question with the little squirrellys, and they are all over it... We are starting a research paper unit, and they got to choose the person they are going to research today, so I have quite the list...everything from Ghandi to Christina Aguilera (ugh) to Alexander the Great (and most of the Minnesota Wild team roster). O the joys of making school applicable to everyday life! I think it would be fun to work with this age group someday, especially in such a wonderful school like Centennnial:)

Wow, 32 weeks already! Time is just flying by! Good luck with baby names - that can be so tough. I remember our family had our hearts set on a name when my brother was born and when we saw him - we changed it! I guess it was good we had one in our back pocket. :)

Claire, Jason, Jonas,
Great pictures! I very much enjoy reading the blog. I was able to get into Jenny and Travis's blog and see pictures of Bella. I love the name!! Italian of course!!! "Beautiful!
I haven't talked to Michael yet today, but Dennis did say last night that he has read that people are dying lately from viruses. I told Michael to be over cautious. Also, not having Jonas in contact with Michael is important. It wouldn't even hurt to cover the seat he sits in with a towel or sheet and then clean the handles of the car off with an antibactiarial wipe so you don't later touch it and then yourselves or Jonas. It's better to be safe than sorry. I love you all. If I don't talk to you again, Claire, have a great time with Jenny and her little family.
Love, Denise
