Well....good 'ol Father Winter has been hard
work up here in the Great White North....COLD!!!! I have been wanting to get out with the snowboard, but let's face it, not when it's 17 below, and my nose freezes shut after 10 seconds! But we have been staying nice and cozy indoors...it is fun to be snowed in...you feel like you can just enjoy cuddling on the couch
with your baby and hubby...baking is also a good remedy for cold...warmth and yummy treats...plus more
insulation for us from the bitter winds:) can you say extra pounds anyone??...and when Jonas is in bed, then the fun really begins:) Jason and I have been playing tons of Bananagrams...a gift from his parents...it's like Speed Scrabble, but you say "peel" when you draw more tiles:) We've been enjoying the fire place immensely, and even though the tree is gone...sad...why can't we have one all year? They are sooo pretty
, festive and they smell wonderful!... I still have the lights up on t
he mantle:) Here are some pictures of
Jonas from around the house just doing his cute thing...he can almost pull himself up on furniture now, and LOVES standing more than anything else in the whole world! He also waves to people when they wave to him-so fun! He enjoys nu
zzling the flannel sheets and now face diving into the water in the bathtub for some reason, but I don't enjoy this new-found talent quite as much as the others! Here he is sporting the bath robe:) He also likes saying "ba ba" as evidenced by the bottom picture...sometimes he can get quite passionate with something on his mind!!We also had a wonderful weekend this last weekend. Jason and I had a wonderful date night on Friday and David and Ethan babysat-finally we got to use the gift card from our doula, Miriam, way back in May...Macaroni Grill-so delicious! Then Saturday night we went over to Shannon and Dennis's house for a yummy dinner of wild rice soup with venison fresh from the source (complements to Dennis:) Sunday, Bailey and Michael babysat while we went to the Chamber Orchestra of Europe concert at Bethel. It was incredible...I love strings and watching them play is like a fortaste of what heaven must be like...the hall was packed, and so was the parking lot, so note to self, leave at least 45 minutes early if you want to find a space!! (Thank you Jason, for being patient with me:) Enjoy the pictures:) I will add more later! Doesn't he look so handsome in overalls? I was just talking to a friend about how they are my favorite thin
g for babies to wear...they look the cutest in them!
