LEGO Style
Jason organized two really fun games with all the Legos, and the kids were totally engaged! He took several pictures with his IPad of different Lego pieces (some really unique and some really basic) then he held up the picture for the kids to see and they all dug like crazy and then whoever found the piece, held it up. We could have done that all day long--they loved it! We also played a version of Creationary--and the kids worked with a partner to create a picture on a card...which took awhile, but everyone had fun trying (and Jason and I had fun helping). This age is very concerned with doing it right, so we had some very thoughtful builders:) I couldn't believe how they listened and worked on the activities---it is amazing what a giant pile of Legos can do for 2, 3, 4 and 5-year olds!
Opening gifts---could they get any closer?:)
Jonas is 5!
10 friends
Sweet boys:)
We served apple slices, carrots, white cheddar puffs, cheese pizza, juice boxes and cupcakes---and they ate it all:)
Happy Birthday Jonas!
The girls had their own table since we ran out of room at the big table---they enjoyed their own little space and "girl" conversation:)
Each kiddo received 20 little Legos and could build whatever they wanted with those Legos at the table. Jason included at least one special piece for each child and the rest were regular bricks. They built them after they were done eating and then could each take home their creation.
It was a wonderful party:) Legos are so fun to work with in decorating since they are so colorful and versatile! Moms love them too!
