Jonas and I just got back from a fun day in the sun at Afton State Park (we have had so many mommy/son adventures this summer:)...and a delicious ice cream cone-Deep Dish Apple Pie-that was a unique experience...yummy, and to think that I had my dessert before my dinner! I just love Minnesota State Parks...they are gorgeous, and Afton is no exception. The St. Croix is beautiful, and we went swimming, well, I guess Jonas watched me, but he enjoyed smushing his tootsies into the sand. His feet are almost too small to even leave footprints...I tried to make it look like he was walking down the beach with footprints so that if someone came along they might say, "Wow that was one small person here on this beach." Anyway, we had a blast on our hike just enjoying the Indian Summer that is going on up here in the Great White North-I wish it would last until November!!
