We are back from Door County...what a wonderful weekend!! I had so much fun...the weather was gorgeous, Jonas was adorable, and we all had a great time racing through the hay maze (a tradition since we were little), watching home videos (sorry Jason and Becca...you guys just don't quite know what you are in for yet!!), eating red velvet cake, chatting in front of the fire (or exchanging some heated political opinions) and playing some good ol' Cities and Knights... got a little tense there at the end...we are all a little too competitive; but then again the next morning everyone is forgiven and we start anew:) For those of you that have played this, you will understand...and I'm telling you, those probabilities are not accurate with certain people raking in the resources after 11s and 3s are rolled, and for a girl that likes 6s, this was aggravating! I love my family...Jonas was just soaking in all of the attention from two fantastic uncles, Mormor, Morfar, and Becca...and then tonight he had his friend Justin come over (with Heidi and Tim) to hang out while Mommy and Daddy went on a birthday date to the delicious Bellanotte...and then Uncle Michael and Bailey came over later and held down the fort while we had some dessert at the new condo (by a raging fire):) My husband is so romantic. He even got a little birthday cake...from the bakery that did our wedding cake...Chocolate Symphony:), sparkling cider, and of course a bouquet of Gerbera daisies to top it all off! We are so blessed. I often forget how good God is in giving us family...the most wonderful blessings of all! Thank you all for the birthday phone calls...it means so much to hear from you and chat for awhile...Bristol, you made my day, (you always do) and Dad, I don't know what I would do without your constant support, wisdom, and encouragement!! I love you!
