We had beautiful weather while in Iowa last weekend, along with good time with family and friends. Jason's grandpa turned 90 on Monday June 1, and Jonas and I got to visit him in the hospital and sing "Happy Birthday!"....it was good to be able to see him and Grandma as well. They are such dear people---God is so good to our family! Here are a few shots of Jonas playing by the pool on the deck--since this is what we spent much of our time doing- I say "by" rather than "in" because he preferred the shoreline to the actual pool water...apparently hose water does not meet his temperature regulations! He eventually got in all the way...we had to tempt him with a tower of cups...he just couldn't resist knocking those down, and in order to do so, he had to get wet!! We enjoyed playing in the sprinkler, playing with new birthday toys, trips to the park, and a lovely picnic...a perfectly perfect summer weekend indeed!
