I was up this morning at 1:45 am eating a snack and packing Jason's lunch....the second made me feel guilty (as I had not done it yet) and the first is impossible to ignore---it is so difficult to go back to sleep when you are hungry!! Ugh! Anyway, I am really excited for my 32-week check-up on Friday---then the appointments come every two weeks, and after 36, every week! Crazy!
In other news, Jason and I had a wonderful time at the Desiring God conference this weekend---it was such a blessing to hear solid preaching from the Word from several incredible speakers (R.C. Sproul, Francis Chan, Al Mohler, Rick Warren, and of course, John Piper (oh how good it was to see my pastor again and hear from him---I miss him so much!) The conference was called "The Life of the Mind and the Love of God." The topic is what drew us in, and we are so so so thankful that we could go!! I still am mulling over the new ideas and truths poured over my soul during the weekend----I don't have anything profound to say right now as I am a sleepy mess, but I will try to encapsulate the conference at a later post. Blessings to you all dear readers on this glorious fall day!
