Yay! It is 83 degrees here today:) September came in with a chilly blast, but October so far has been delightfully warm and sunny, and especially these last few days, we've been soaking it all in:) Jonas even went for a dip today in the lake after playing for hours in the sand.

We splashed around and people were sitting out in their bathing suits and lawn chairs---(A funny sight in MN in October:). I am thankful for this weather----and baby girl seems to like it too (or maybe that's just me really enjoying myself and forgetting how huge and awkward I feel most of the time). The appointment went well today---I love love love hearing that heartbeat, and now----only 8 more weeks to go. And all we need around here is a rocking chair, a room divider, and a double stroller----We're going to have baby girl share our room at first, and with the bed rearranged, we have tons of space, so with a fan and a little divider, I really think this can work. I didn't have a rocker with Jonas, and really hope to get one soon as they really are the most comfortable for nursing in the wee hours of the morn. And the double stroller----I don't want a side-by-side one---they are huge and awkward and don't fit through most doorways, but we still really want a jogging stroller because it's fun to have the freedom to go run with the kiddos, and they are just so much smoother and easier to maneuver than the regular strollers that everyone has with cheapo plasticy wheels----those just don't stand a chance on bumpy hiking trails and irregular ground (where we always seem to end up:)! So...needless to say, we're checking on the 'ol budget to see if we can swing that $400 it will cost for a Phil and Teds back-to-back--- Happy Friday everyone!
