Guess What??

She's still sleeping! And that's why I am able to write this blog right now, so we'll see how long it can be:) Freya went to bed wide awake as ever at midnight or so, and is still sleeping! That's right folks, my little girl decided to bless her Mommy and Daddy with some much needed hours of sleep (and all in a row!!) I love this little pumpkin, but I'll tell you, she is HIGH MAINTENANCE! Yikes! She is moody about everything it seems----who holds her and when, where she is placed (bouncy chair or swing or floor or bed).....I feel like I spend many hours just doing one thing to the next until it is time to eat again for her----and she has a ravenous appetite, but then is even moody about eating, so I have been relying on God's grace over and over again to get through the days. She is not fussy all the time, but when she is, you better watch out. Jason loves her to pieces and is always talking to her when she gets like that..."Why are you so mad, Baby Girl?" and "Don't be so dramatic, sweety!" He deals with the craziness better that I do for sure. Our days have fallen into a pattern so-to-speak, and I have enjoyed this challenge of two...but, oh wait, my ears, my ears....yup. She's awake! Gotta go! It's been fun! I'll try to update more soon, but who knows when I'll have time for that! Have a good week everyone! And just to give you a peek into our regular social lives:)....here's Daddy at our game night last Saturday----not simple anymore folks....rocking baby, holding cat and explaining the directions of a very complex game to the rest of us!:)

Claire! That is EXACTLY how Griffin was. He grew out of it, though, and now he's a pretty laid back little guy. Hopefully Freya will change her high maintanance ways :)

Agricola!! I love that game :) That seems right up your alley! Landis taught Tom and me to play that over our Indiana visit. Hope you liked it.

Oh Claire, what an adventure indeed! I'm sure there will be lots of lessons in this chapter of life and I know you will handle it all with grace. Blessings to all of you!
