On Saturday, Jonas had two of his best buddies over for an early birthday celebration! We loaded up the 3 boys and Freya
and ventured out to the Y for some swimming fun---the boys had a blast. I really think they went up and down those slides at least 100 times each:) We tired them out!
Jason and I were busy to say the least:) Three 3-year-old boys keep you on your toes--and getting them all in their swimsuits and then all out of the them in a timely fashion proved to be the greatest challenge---at least the lockers in the changing area kept them somewhat contained as they thought it great fun to climb in and out of those a million bazillion times! After swimming, we came back home and had some mac n' cheese (at the birthday boy's request:) and cupcakes that they helped frost and decorate...
as well as some good old-fashioned fun with pin-the tail-on the donkey---the boys even decorated their tails! (with markers-- as you can tell by Josiah's purple face:)
(Of course I think the most favorite activity of our guests, Bryce and Josiah, was definitely the trains and tracks in our living room---we probably could have stayed here and just played with those for 4 hours and they would have been as happy as clams:) The time went so fast---it was so fun to be able to have a party and have Jonas make memories (I have some of my fondest memories from childhood from birthday parties:)

happy birthday Jonas! (they look so grown up!) lee and i need to stay away more often at the pool--I can't believe the picture of Bryce going down the slide is our son!

I know! He did so well--they all did---slides make everything more fun:)
