Freya Jane was dedicated on Mother's Day---both sets of parents were here, and we had a great time, crazy-fun as it always is when we all get together... (I also just got back from a wonderfully rich/relaxing/encouraging week with my college buddies down in Wichita---I'll share some pictures of that soon too!) Freya's great-grandmother got her this adorable cherry dress (partly in honor of the place we all love so much---Door County---the land of cherries:). We had so much fun dressing her up for the special morning:)
(And here's one of the happily engaged couple---Congratulations you two! We are so happy for you!) Thank you to all of the family and friends that made this day really special for Freya and for us as her parents---we are so blessed to have such a strong support network of people that we know will be praying for and loving Freya throughout her life---in hopes that she would come to trust and love Christ above all things. What a treasure she is. I love this little lady so much! What a joy and privilege it is to be her mother---even on stuffy, overcrowded airplanes when she screams the whole way while cutting her first two teeth:) Joy. Pure joy.
