We finally did it!

Jason and I graduated on Friday from Bethel with our Masters:) It was a really special night---considering the myriad of interruptions we have had in our lives over the past 3 years, it was so wonderful to celebrate this stepping stone in our lives TOGETHER. We both know how much work a big fat thesis is, and because of each other, we got 'em done! Many many late (and sometimes sleepless) nights, much hair-pulling, countless trips to the library, hours of digging deep into the bowels of educational research, and many tears--at least for me! (Actually, without my dear husband, my paper would have never been done---he was a super nagger (and encourager:) We feel so blessed to have had so much support from friends and family too...and now that we've been hooded... (what funny things we do in the world of academia:) it is fun to look to the next chapter in our lives...Jason is hoping for more school in the near future, me, I'm set for now:) Mom is busy enough these days, and so glad to have that beastly paper done before Baby #3! And way to go Bailey, too...she finished a semester early from undergrad and is already hard at work back in Iowa, anticipating the big wedding this summer!! So, it was a big graduation for our family---3 of us! Woo Hoo!
