The Frog...
and Freya = fast friends. This little lady LOVES animals. She was so excited to spot this critter at the pool earlier this week that she would reach out and touch it, say, "Ooooooo", then clap, and then scrunch down as if she simply couldn't contain her happiness. I am glad to have another animal lover in the family---I was getting lonely. I was pretty excited to see the frog too, and then of course, after everyone else had returned to their swimming, I simply had to move him to a shady, cool spot in the flowers because I was afraid he would get stepped on or get too hot on the cement. I know animals can take care of themselves, but ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to make sure they were as safe and comfortable as possible. Jason laughed at me. Some people just don't get it. We animal lovers have to stick together:)

Freya really does love animals and notices them with such intensity! When she picks out a book to read it usually has animals in it too. I am more observant of them too when she is with me!

I know---she almost has a 6th sense with animals---so focused and so concerned. I love it!
