He gives good gifts!
I don't have much time to write today, but I feel like I have to share this: Monday Jason and Jonas and I went and got our tree (a Balsam Fir, and boy does it smell good from Wolcyn Tree Farm, actually, and I went to Northwestern with those boys:) Small world! Anyway, after we finished setting it up and putting the lights on, which by the way, Jonas loved, Jason and I just sat a read and had some popcorn...such a simple night, but honestly it was such a blessing to me to spend some quality time with him and just reflect on God's goodness....he gives good gifts, Claire, and don't ever forget that! I was amazed at how beautiful the tree is and how wonderful it was to finally anticipate celebrating Jesus' birth! Treasure the simple things...sometimes the greatest gifts are right under our nose, and we forget to look!
