One of those days...

It is one of those days....screaming babies, an insurmountable mountain of laundry, greasy hair and no time to shower-(and no conditioner in the house with which to take a shower and no desire to go to the store)-, homework to do, a messy house, and NO motivation whatsoever...but this too shall pass, I know it will, but sometimes I have a hard time believing! How can I be a good mother and wife today? Ever feel like this? I will just try to smile and wait for tomorrow:)

Do I ever feel like this?!?!?! All the time! Bella was super fussy today too! I'm thinking it's either ear infections (she keeps grabbing her ears and screaming) or teething (she's gnawing on EVERYTHinG!!!) Hope it goes better soon, dearie!

Claire,
Prioritize the absolutes that must get done. Focus on only one small task at a time. Don't even try to multi-task!! At least not today. You're probably tired and you've had a very emotional couple of weeks. Forget the one day at a time and do the one half hour at a time!! Trust me, all that needs to be done will be waiting for you when you get there! I would prioritize me in the mix and wash and condition my hair with whatever is on hand at home (Going out takes too long with two babies and then you'll feel even more behind!)because when I clean up I always feel a little better. Don't forget to take a short time when the babies are sleeping, sit by a window in the sun and read a few passages of Scripture and "be still" before the Lord.
I love you. Mommy Claire.
Love, Grandma Denise
