Productive and Fun: Our Weekend

We had a great weekend, and just wanted to share that spring cleaning is fun again! Saturday morning, I felt motivated and went and rented a Rug Doctor (something I have wanted to do since we moved in) and we went crazy on the cleaning! Actually, to be honest, Jason did most of it-the vacuuming and the Rug Doctoring, but we were a team...I also rearranged furniture, dusted, cleaned bathrooms, and even put away piles of stuff...know those piles? The ones that creep up on you all over the table, floor, etc.? Well, it felt good to finally have clean carpet, the Rug Doctor worked great...we were both really pleased....even in places where it didn't look dirty, I was amazed to find grime, dirt, sand, hair...you name it! I feel much better too since Jonas pretty much smashes his face, drags his face, face-plants into the carpet everyday, so at least now, he can make the mess! Jason and I also got to go out on a date on Friday to Rudolph's BBQ-yummy yummy yummy!!, and see friends and family too:) We had nursery duty yesterday at church, and we so enjoy ministering to those little ones together. It is so fun to hold babies that are smaller than Jonas too and see how far he has come! And since everyone I know is pregnant or just had a baby (I think I am up to about 18 people that I know), it is fun to chat with these new moms and moms-to-be...and to be honest, I am so glad to just be part of the conversation and not the reality at this point...maybe in a couple of years:)....Happy Spring!!
I also wanted to add that the backpack is wonderful for at-home tasks too! Jonas is happy, and I can get some things done (bending over is a little difficult)...but overall, a fantastic invention is this backpack! I would recommend these to everyone with a little one!
