Hello Everyone- Jason thinks this picture is so funny! I had it as our background on the desktop today, and every time he saw it, he just laughed...I suppose it is the seriousness in those little eyes and little-man jaw that are just too cute to pass-up...although, one can never be too sure:) See what you think!
Also, praise the Lord for this spring (actually) summer-like weather...it was right around 70 degrees yesterday, and we are supposed to have more of the same these next few days too! It has been glorious around here! I went hog-wild yesterday and bought plants and more plants yesterday and went crazy with the potting soil...and the beauty of the whole deal is that even if it does get cold again, all I have to do is bring them behind the porch door...they are all in pots:) I am planning on also planting some seeds-including veggies and a pumpkin or two, but they only need 95 days to germinate and grow to ripeness, so I was thinking about waiting until later in the spring or even early summer to plant those...as I would love them to be ripe and ready mid-October, and after doing the math, 95 days from now would land me somewhere in July...yay for getting an early start to the planting----makes the season seem so much longer! I will post a couple of pics of the the "porch-garden" soon! Meanwhile, I would encourage each and everyone of you to get out there and get your hands in some good dirt...potting soil, bark, rocks....and get planting! There is something soothing and so healthy (not to mention the yummy smell:) about spending a day with God's creation...and watching it take shape and grow right before your eyes!

oooh I love hearing about your gardening adventures! I definitely get my hands in the dirt since I work at a garden center- I hang out with trees flowers and veggies all day long :) And I love little green monster Jonas! Missing you all and hoping to find time to chat soon!
That is a great picture! What a handsome boy! I did a lot of perennial planting last year and I am SO curious to see if they made it through!
