Spring has Sprung!

I love this weather! It has been beautiful and sunny these last few days...I even went for a run, which was a very encouraging experience. I also went for a run last week and almost died at the mile marker (this is pathetic!) but this time I went at least twice as far and felt great afterwards! I think this spring air just does the trick, and I can honestly say that finally (19 and 1/2 months later) I finally feel like myself again...after pregnancy and birth and nursing and everything...Jonas is on the go these days, and it is wonderful to feel active again...really active! It is just exhausting to watch him...pulling himself up on everything-even things that aren't really sturdy or tall enough, but he tries it!:)
I also wanted to mention that Jonas had an eye appointment yesterday. Thanks to Becca-I made an appointment (for FREE) I might add-just to have Jonas's eyes checked! They look great, says the doctor-his optic nerve, muscles and his eye strength. YAY! As many of you know, I have had three eye surgeries as a child, and both Jason and I wear contacts, so I thought it would be a good idea to have Jonas checked...Becca told me about a program called Infant See-any baby can have this check-up for free, and they are really encouraged to do so because early diagnosis is the key (were there to be a problem) so I encourage all of you mothers of little ones to take advantage of this program! Here is the link...check it out! http://www.infantsee.org/
"The American Optometric Association encourages parents to include a trip to the optometrist in the list of well-baby check-ups. Assessments at six to twelve months of age can determine healthy development of vision. Early detection of eye conditions is the best way to ensure your child has healthy vision for successful development—now and in the future."
