*I am trying to get as many posts as possible in this morning, due to a recent Internet shortage at our house, so that explains why they are all dated July 12....I have so much to catch up on!
So, a couple weekends back, the last one in June, to be exact, my dear dear college friends (and children-Jonas and Bella) joined me at the lake house in Door County for a wonderful weekend of memories...we chatted, laughed, swam, hiked, ate delicious food---prepared by ourselves:)---Lis and Rach, I miss all that fresh salsa!...it was a precious time.
We were all roommates over the course of our 4 years at Northwestern...not all at once, but in differing combinations....Kay was my roommie freshman year, then Kay and Lisa sophomore year (we had a theme that year for our room---The Jungle---accompanied with fun decor and screaming stuffed monkeys:), junior year, while I was an RA, I roomed with Kay and Rach, and senior year, Rach, Lisa and Jenny and I shared an apartment...Kay got married, and therefore ended our almost 4-years spree:) I love all of these women so much as they have played such a significant role in my spiritual walk over the years...enjoy the pictures from our weekend! We have managed a reunion every year since college due to babies and weddings, so hopefully this will be an ongoing tradition we can carry on for years to come!
