We had a great week and weekend....Jonas loved playing in the snow, and we enjoyed having Bailey, Michael and David over for a Christmas dinner...I made cheesy hash browns, corn bread pudding, a ham, veggies, cranberry bread, and we had cookies and peppermint ice cream for dessert...:) yummy!!
It was fun too...it sparked many interesting discussions, and it was fun to see what people knew and didn't know...my brother aced the science section, I the literature section, and Jason and Michael seemed to know alot about everything:)....David got mad at a question about skunk cabbage....as he had never heard of it:) Jason ended up winning...he is just really good at figuring out answers even when at first, he has no idea....he does this all the time...he is proud to call himself the "Jack of all Trades and the Master of None" :)It has been and continues to be such a huge blessing having these ( I call them the Bethel children) around...not only for the babysitting of course...but because it is so nice to have family around...for Jonas and for us...they are so fun and always willing to come over and eat our food and play games and just laugh together....
we have made some wonderful memories these past few years.....hard to believe that next year David will be a Senior!! Crazy!! Here are some pictures from last night...we gave Bailey her present because she is headed to England for J-term and we won't see her again until February...We also know that it is in fact, NOT Jonas's first Christmas, but the pjs didn't fit him last year, so he is wearing them in memory of his first Christmas and in anticipation of his second:)
