The sweetest moments of motherhood...

On a typical night at bedtime, we get pjs on, brush teeth, read a Bible story, sing a hymn and then pray. We pray for our families by name....so we go through the list on both sides....a very common part of the evening routine...except that tonight, as I was going through the list, Jonas interrupted the prayer in his sweet, almost sad voice while I was praying and said...."Mormor Mormor" I said, "Do you miss Mormor and Morfar? " "Miss" he replied and nodded his head.... I continued on in our prayer and when I got to Erik and Becca, he interrupted again...and said,"Becca miss" and I said, "You miss Auntie Becca?" and he said, "Yes. Becca miss." Oh my sweet boy...they miss you too!
