Family cooking:)

We often make Asian cuisine at our house... I dice and slice, and Jason scrambles and sautees his way to a masterpiece. Our favorite is just plain old chicken fried rice, but honestly with fresh veggies (namely carrots, red peppers, and green onions), eggs, and meat....it always tastes better than anyplace I've ever gone out to get Chinese. I am thankful that hubby likes to cook!! I must encourage each of you to give cooking with your spouse a chance if you've never tried it....we have so much fun creating our own recipes and trying new things...I think it started early on in our marriage with "The Smoothie"---we ate about a smoothie a day during our first summer of marriage, and it was so much fun to add a new fruit find: a pear here, a mango there...---Sometimes the sweetest things in life are simply the everyday things:) So get cooking! Even the little ones will appreciate the scrumptious fare, although they often get a little impatient waiting for it's completion...thank goodness for coloring books and high-chairs:)
