Goodmorning Superman!

Here is my little super-hero all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed... nice and early in the morning! He is definitely a morning person, and oftentimes it is in the morning when he is the most compliant---thus the various poses and shots of him actually looking directly at the camera when I ask him to:) Mornings are sweet around here---it is such a joy to go get him out of bed and hear his morning greetings and his latest dream topics----which now not only includes bears (now more specifically polar bears) but raccoons as well:) I only wish Jason and I had this kind of spunk ready to embrace the day:) Hope you all have a good one:) I also have to simply say that I had a wonderful Mother's Day---and now I am going to proceed and brag about how wonderful my husband is:) Jason is so kind and sweet---he made a delicious lunch including marinated steaks with fresh sauteed mushrooms and onions, homemade mashed red potatoes, green beans, and then a delicious dessert:) He and Jonas also got me flowers and colored a card and then, after lunch, we went and played outside in the beautiful sunshine with bubbles. After that, Jonas went down for a nap, and Jason instructed me that I was supposed to stay outside and read and relax while he cleaned up the house---which he did...the entire house:) The kitchen, our disastrous closet, and so much more---he said he was in the mood, but I know he probably just said that to make me feel better:) I am so thankful for this dear man in my life---even when the house isn't clean:)Then we completed the day with a great game night with Dave, Michael and Bailey (and the famous BBQ Jackpots---a delicious game-night favorite:)We have started playing this fantastic new game called Puerto Rico---and I would totally recommend it to you strategy game-lovers...we are all now thoroughly addicted---wish the school-year wasn't ending so soon!! I hope all of you were able to enjoy Mother's Day and not only be blessed but to bless others---(namely your own mothers:)
