It's the little things...or, simply put: Movies and Smoovies

Last night, when we were driving home from small groups, Jason was flipping through the radio stations in the van and stopped at the jazz station--his favorite. They were doing a countdown, and the announcer man said, "And now for Number 2!" Jason waited to listen to what number two was and then decided to check another station....However, a loud, little-man voice from the darkness of the backseat met our ears with..."No Daddy, Number 2! I want Number 2!" :) So we listened to Number 2 after-all:) Also, in other randomly funny things that surround our lives----The night before last, Jonas wanted to watch a movie after getting his pjs on. Jason and I were picking up toys, and Jonas proceeded to try to jam a VHS into the VCR on the TV---however, he was pushing it in long-ways, so Jason came to his aid, telling him that "It is bedtime, and there is no time for a movie tonight." However, as he took the VHS out, he realized that there were some other things in the player---reaching his hand in, he also uncovered 3 DVDs and another VHS:) We have a little boy that likes to "watch" movies:) Then the boys had a little talk about technology and being gentle and about how DVDs go in the DVD player....etc. You get the idea:) I love my boys:) And just because...here are a couple of cute pictures from our most recent visit to Jamba Juice where Jason and I each order our choice smoothie and Jonas gets, "My own red smoovie!" Translation: his own cup with a mixture of our two kinds---which ends up being some shade of red---thus, everyone is a happy camper:) Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend everyone!!
