Goodbye Ruby
Jason's grandma passed away this morning...she went into a coma earlier this week, and after a CT scan, they realized that she had a massive stroke. The Lord took her home today, and we are grateful that we are able to go to her memorial service this next weekend and celebrate her life. She was a sweet lady...and I am so thankful that Jonas was able to know her and spend time with her...she held him, talked to him, and laughed with him over Labor Day weekend...it is amazing how these things remind us how fleeting life is. Now she rests in the arms of her Saviour...she lived a life of love and faithfulness to Him...and now her body is not tired, sick, or broken anymore. It is so wonderful to know that she is in a better place. Hope means everything to those of us that are left here. Please keep the family in your prayers, especially Denise, Jason's mom, as this is especially hard for her. The mother-daughter relationship in unlike any other...so please pray for peace and that God would surround her with His presence and comfort at this time.
I have lots of pictures of Grandma on the hard drive, so I will upload some soon...don't know how to do that without Jason's assistance. But for now, here are a couple of cute ones of Jason, Jonas and Denise, so you can have a face in mind when you are praying.
