Pray for Jan

Hey...I'm back...after a couple more weeks of craziness and a broken computer too...which makes blogging difficult! I don't have any time right now to write much or add new pictures from our adventures...but I do want to share with you a prayer request. My aunt Jan (pictured to the left) (Tessa's mom, for those of you who know her) (Jan is also my mom's little sister)... is in the hospital in critical condition right now...she had her appendix out a week or so ago, and they thought everything was fine, well...it wasn't...apparently some of it must have ruptured, because her high fevers returned, and she felt awful and was in alot of pain...anyway, she went back into the hospital a couple of days ago and they found lots of infection in her abdominal cavity...and then, on top of all of this, which is bad enough, she fell and ruptured her spleen causing an 80% blood-loss...needless to say, she was very near death, but after 8 units of blood and a major surgery where they removed the spleen and washed out her abdomen....she is hopefully on the mend---but with a very long road to recovery ahead of her. She is on a ventilator right now and still in ICU...my parents just left to drive out to Washington to help in whatever way they can. Please pray for healing, but also pray for Tim (my uncle) and Isaac and Tessa (my cousins)...they, as are the rest of us, very scared for their mom...God is the Great Physician, and only He can bring healing to her very very weakened body. Thank you for praying...life is short, and every day is a gift--for every one of us, healthy and sick alike. Jan with Jonas:)
