We picked it up from the library today....MUZZY--a really cool language- learning tool for kids...I have thought about purchasing it, but it is very expensive and thought that maybe it would be a good idea to check it out first before taking that step. Jonas was very excited about it as he is any DVD...we don't have TV at our house, so he watches none of that, but DVDs are wonderful...especially since we can pick them out at the library for free and they have tons of Veggie Tales, Little Einstein and all sorts of good choices. On a side note, he needs a haircut, as you can tell from the pictures...and that is happening tomorrow....two months ago was his first official haircut, so we have a fast-hair grower on our hands!! Anyway, maybe the next time you see Jonas he will greet you in French! We want to expose him to different languages as early as possible, because even if he does not become fluent in them, any kinds of vocabulary expansion is so helpful for reading...and the foundations of language-learning are crucial for kids to be good thinkers, readers and writers. Plus, this is the prime time for them to pick up on new words and phrases...as he is still learning English anyway. Ripe and hungry minds our little ones have:)
