What to do...SHOTS tomorrow morning

So here we are in the 21st century...a blessing to be sure for many reasons--with medical advances unlike anyone before us has ever seen. Mothers and babies are safer than ever during childbirth, people are living longer, we are fighting cancer with furious vigor, we are successfully medicating people with bipolar disorder, and we are even operating on babies in the womb with wonderful success!! and, children have the opportunity to be vaccinated against countless illnesses---which, is a huge blessing, but is also where, I will admit, I get nervous.
What do I do? I have heard both sides---well, to say there are only 2 sides to the debate (whether to vaccinate or not vaccinate) is simplistic indeed-there are many different perspectives. This is a heated debate, and now with Jonas's 12-month vaccinations looming before me at 10:15 tomorrow morning, once again, I must simply trust the best efforts of countless years of research (and thankfully, the LORD-as He is ultimately in control of this little boy's body.) When you read about the different ingredients in those shots, it is shocking...and to think that Autism and other social, emotional and cognitive disabilities are on the rise, it is s.c.a.r.y to say the least...Some people do think that there COULD be a correlation, not strong, but nonetheless, present between the rise in vaccinations (we are vaccinating against more and more and in younger and younger children) and these disorders .... for one thing, we are putting poisons such as mercury (used as a preservative), formaldehyde (used as a tissue fixative)---both of which, are not safe at ANY level in the human body--- aluminum, methanol (an industrial solvent and an ingredient in antifreeze), borax (traditionally used as an insecticide), latex, and animal DNA and viruses into our babies bodies (the list goes on and on)...things that were
never intended to be there. I even heard a story from a lady at church---someone I trust immensely, that a little boy she knew, after his shots, woke up one day, and could not focus on anything, and to this day, 5 years later is struggling immensely with Autism and ADD....now I know that this could simply be a coincidence, but what if it is not? What if we are doing more harm than good? What if? It does make me nervous, and I hate that I can't know more...So I guess, we just have to go with what we know, which, unfortunately, is inconclusive at best....a blessing, and a curse, it seems, these shots...

Claire, I know what you mean! It is such a struggle to know what to do. I have to remind myself EVERYDAY that God is ultimately in control.
