So my little peanut even had whiskers the day after Halloween (as you can see if you enlarge this picture:)...apparently the washable brown marker that I used to draw his whiskers wasn't so washable...so my little puppy also got to go to church:) So I got to greet everyone we saw with, "Yes, Jonas was a puppy for Halloween...so how are you this morning?"
We've had the most beautiful weather these past two days...what a blessing as it has felt like winter for the month of October...cold and wet and yuck. Thank the Lord for the sunshine and warmth:) It is so good for kids to play outside...and Jonas is so much happier when he has had hi outside time for the day! He sleeps better, eats better, etc.!! Keep this coming:)
I also just wanted to add on a random note that....I LOVE writing tests....teaching these classes has been wonderful, but my favorite part, besides the interacting with students has actually been creating the assessments...quizzes and tests and the like...maybe I could be an assessment designer when I grow up??:)...it is so fun to try to think of creative ways to ask questions...and to gets students to think on multiple levels... I've always appreciated a well-written test when I was the one taking it....I really loved the tests that actually were able to show what I knew collectively for that unit or chapter...and not just by having me spew back facts....but by asking deep, meaningful questions, and, if I studied, just gave me a chance to shine. I know I am a nerd, but hey, it's fun to love what you do:)
and here is a cute picture of Jonas and Daddy playing in the leaves:)
