There are many reasons to enjoy Halloween: funny costumes, funny treats, funny people, and even funny socks.... (that you wear with your husband who is a really good sport:)
but my new favorite reason is..... the St Bernard puppy that visited our house this year!!

As you can see, this St Bernard is a somewhat thoughtful puppy....he warmed up to the whole costume thing as the day went along:) And boy was it a busy day....we got Jonas all dressed up in his costume and took some pictures outside and then headed over to Rosedale Mall for some trick-or-treating!! It was so cool---we went from shop to shop and most stores had a person out front greeting the kids and handing out candy:) such a cool idea especially since it was quite chilly outside yesterday! Jonas wasn't quite sure what to think at first, but then he warmed up and caught onto the whole scheme---he approached every worker with wide eyes and hand extended, ready for the candy. We tromped around the mall enjoying all the costumes and the festivities, and stopped for a short break for some delicious Aunt Annie's lemonade, as we had a very thirsty puppy on our hands!!
then we headed over to Calvary Baptist for their Pumpkinfest---so cool!
We met some friends there and enjoyed more trick-or-treating, a bouncy castle, games, yummy treats, a glow room, crafts, and even a petting zoo...complete with a camel:)
It was the perfect festive evening...here he is with his friend lion:)
Jonas loved the bouncy castle and cried when he had to get out...he even alluded the lady in charge who was trying to get him to take her hand....he certainly has a mind of his own:) We took off his costume so he could cool off for awhile:)
We then picked up Michael and Bailey from Bethel and headed over to Chipotle for some free burritos and chips....we adorned ourselves with tinfoil and waited in line for about 45 minutes, but it was well worth it....Jason just texted me when the line finally made it inside the building, so I could bring Jonas in and not have him wait out in the cold...even though his costume kept him pretty nice and cozy all day! Enjoy the pictures!

Sounds like fun! I am really looking forward to having a little one to do all of these fun family things with. I would do it now but I would just look like a creepy adult! :) haha
How cute is your St. Bernard?? I love that the mall did a trick or treat. I was wondering what we were going to do if it stayed freezing down here... luckily it warmed up a bit for the weekend. Hope all's well! Keep the pictures coming! I want pictures of his teeth!
