This last weekend was great...let's call it our "what there is to do for fun in the Twin Cities" weekend---as I feel like we did so much! Friday night we began the fun at the indoor water park and playground at the Shoreview Community Center,
and a "town" including a little market, a post office, doctor's office, city bus, a packaging factory, and a Chinese restaurant---the kids just get to explore--and Jonas loved shopping at the market...
our little worker-man who now loves conveyor belts
and the chef at the restaurant---I think he could have stirred those veggies in the wok all day long!
And, at the end, Jason even painted our faces:)
And, of course, the Skyway was fun too with the "cahs (cars) under me!" Translation: Jonas was excited to watch the cars drive beneath him. :)
Then Saturday night, I worked, and after church, the Bethel folks came over for dessert and games. Always a good time:)
Then on Sunday, Jason was able to hang out and reconnect with some old college friends and we went on a walk. I am thankful for weekends like this---quality family time for sure and things we have wanted to do but seem to not always be around to do together! Enjoy the pictures. There are some really sweet ones of Jason and Jonas in the pool with the sun shining in (makes it seem like we're outside---not quite yet)! Jonas seemed so much more stable and confident in the water---a good thing for sure...especially with summer right around the corner and many a lake to splash in and explore:)

I want to go to the children's museum with you guys sometime! It looks like so much fun!
talk to you soon,
Becca
yes it does sometimes...more reddish I think..and hope:) Oh how I wanted red hair as a kid...so jealous of Erik, but if Jonas gets it, that would be wonderful!!
