My Dad got the job!! Thank you to those of you who were praying for him and for my family....he has been on the job hunt for nearly 9 months now, and it has been quite the journey---he had so many months of nothing---no interviews, no calls, no e-mails and lots of discouragement. And it is hard to see your dad like that, especially when you know from first hand experience that he is incredibly capable and intelligent and all those companies that are ignoring him are simply missing out! However, thankfully, and much to his surprise, these last few weeks have been quite the opposite! In fact, they have been crazy with several opportunities presenting themselves.... Why does it happen that way? (it's either all or nothing, I guess) However, after all was said and done, he got the job that he and my mom were really hoping for (and Erik and David and I). We want more than anything to see them happy---they both have worked so hard my entire life putting us through private schools, providing for every need and then sending us off to great colleges. And, while the days of hard work are not over for them, they will continue within the beauty of our beloved Door County. A home away from home for our family, and we couldn't be happier!! Way to go, Dad! They'll be no more of this.........(at least when it comes to jobs:)
but still time for this....
and this....
And definitely this...
WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
