That's what I have on my hands....a little boy who thinks he is invincible now that he has one of these: (a life-jacket:)
Yes....the boys and I have been spending a mighty lot of time in the canoe these past weeks....a fantastic outdoor activity for a preggo mommy and an active little boy....he pretty much snacks the whole ride while pointing out seaweed, other boats, dragonflies, etc.
I love boat time with Jason and Jonas....we have conquered 4 of the 10,000+ lakes MN has to offer us, and on Memorial Day even hit up Minnetonka----and lest you think we are completely crazy for attempting one of the biggest and most popular lakes on one of the busiest boating days of the year---let me explain....we went in the morning (this is key) and enjoyed the quiet waters of Gray's Bay (a no-wake zone on weekends and holidays)--thank goodness! And when we did venture outside the quiet bay, we hugged the shore, and it really was quite nice:) We even stopped at a quiet spot on shore for a yummy picnic lunch and Jonas had an absolute blast jumping---
with no regard for anything around him, I might add---off of the dock:) I love having a boy, and he certainly is a little gutsy one when it comes to lakes:)

Ahhhh... Bella is the SAME way! she just LOVES the water and jumping in it to Daddy. It's been so blazing hot here we've been living at the pool side as well. Wish she could come with to the cabin (if Jonas is coming) so they could play together. They'd be sure to find trouble - fast!
Oh funny! I am sure they would....Jonas loves new friends and always seems to quickly find trouble wherever it is lurking:) Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow:)
