Wrestling on the couch and a lesson in life...

Last night, after we got home from our small group picnic, Jason and Jonas were wrestling on the couch (a typical nightly occurrence). Jason had Jonas between his legs and was squeezing him around his torso---not hard, just to trap him and tickle him. Anyway, Jason had him stuck there and as he was "squeezing", Jonas stops giggling, looks Jason right in the eye, and says ever so seriously to him, "Daddy stop it. Don't squeeze my heart (as he points to where his heart is). The doctor put it in there, so don't squeeze it anymore." (And he was so so serious about this folks--we both try really hard not to laugh when Jonas informs us about something that we apparently are clueless about, but it is hard---and he is often instructing us these days:) Pretty good logic though, don't you think? And then of course the conversation continued with Jason asking Jonas what other body parts the "doctor put in there". Apparently doctors have much more responsibilities these days with putting people together and all:) Watch out Uncle Dave, medical school just got a lot more complicated!!
